Community gardening in the heart of Sherwood

The garden behind the community centre emphasises growing food, with a mix of shared areas and individual plots, with an overall feel and look of a garden rather than allotments.

volunteering

We hold monthly work parties for plot holders and volunteers to get involved in improving the garden and learning about gardening.

Q: How can I get involved with Sherwood Community Garden?

Membership is open to residents in the Sherwood area. We have a number of private plots, but there is often a waiting list. It is free to register as a volunteer or friend of a plot holder.

Volunteers are welcome at our monthly work parties, and once registered you are free to enjoy the comunal garden spaces.
